Picture this:

I was midway through my first year of law school, broke, and unhappy with how I was living my life. I had low energy, found it impossible to get most of my work done without laying down, skipped too many classes, and was gaining weight (not to mention financial debt) at a faster rate than I could keep up with. I scrolled through Instagram with resentment. I wished for things and never did anything about it. By the start of my second semester, I was one doctor’s visit away from being considered clinically depressed.

I realized I needed a change. More than that, I needed reinvention, the version that I could be proud of. The foundation of who I was was strong, but some major renovations needed to be made to achieve the life that I always dreamed for myself. To achieve self-satisfaction and happiness. I needed a reason to get up and go, and be excited to wake up and start my day.

So.. I jotted down some notes, made a couple plans, and set myself up for the most tumultuous coming months of my life.

I tried everything, or so it seemed. Different routines, different meal plans, different hobbies. I tried to understand what worked (for me) and what didn’t. It wasn’t an easy process, and many times I angrily stopped and laid back down on the couch. Luckily, I always got myself back up to try again.

Eventually, I found the things that worked for me. A year out, I’ve nearly crawled my way out of credit card debt, I feel better about my body than I have in years, I have a good relationship with my studies again, and (most importantly) I wake up feeling ready and excited to conquer my day.

I’ve come along way to reinvent myself, and the best way I feel I can celebrate this is to share my journey and advice with all of you! So, stick around a while, I’m overjoyed to have you here :)

Hey, Lexi here!

XOXO, Lexi

I sat down and had a heart-to-heart with myself, asking some important questions.

What did I want my life to look like a year from now?

Five years from now?

Ten years from now?

And how could I achieve this?

A little more about me!
